End of Year Reminders

Dear Parents:

There are only 8 more days of school left!

This Friday, May 16th is Field Day. Please send your child in comfortable clothes (i.e.- shorts, tennis shoes) because we will be outside for most of the day and eating popsicles.

Also, we are asking that you please send in one stamp (Forever stamp or new 42 cent stamp) so that your child's report card and final progress report can be mailed to your house the week after school ends!

Thanks so much!

Ms. Rowland

Items Needed!

Our class is collecting 2-liter bottles for a science experiment about weather! We will be doing the science experiment at the end of March. If you have any 2-liter bottles, please wash them out and send them to school with your child. We will need about 14 bottles, so each child can have two.

March News!

Dear Parents:

We have been working so hard the past two weeks learning about our country and celebrating two past presidents: George Washington & Abraham Lincoln!

In order to improve our reading and writing skills, we've also been using a variety of graphic organizers. I hope you've all been proud of your child's work! These graphic organizers will help us organize facts and details about books, including identifying the "main idea" of a text.

Here are two important upcoming dates in March:

Tuesday, March 4th: Early Release! School dismissed 2 hours early!

Thursday, March 20th: Report cards go home!

*Look for information regarding the CRCT coming soon!
