Thanksgiving Play
Please plan on joining us on Friday, Nov. 20th at 8:15 in the cafeteria for our Thanksgiving play. We can't wait to share this with you. We have worked very hard. I hope to see everyone there!!
Friendship Feast
Our Friendship Feast will be on Friday, Nov. 20th at 9:30. This is a feast to celebrate the wonderful friends that we have made in our classroom. This feast will be for the children. Thanks in advance for making this possible.
VIP Feast

Weekly Curriculum Overview
Language Arts- This week we will continue working with identifying the elements of a story. We will hear stories from Frank Asch and work on developing a story map.
Phonics- We will review identifying and producing rhyming words and beginning sounds.
Writing- This week we will continue to review writing about a personal experience.
Math- We will continue to focus on teen numbers and working with a ten frame.
Science, Social Studies, Health- This week we will review Veterns Day and american symbols and continue to learn about Thanksgiving Day.

Weekly Curriculum Overview
Language Arts- This week we will be working on a sing to read book called Indian's Week. This is a song that we will be singing in our Thanksgiving play. We will also be making our own Indian's Week book and listening to the stories The Little Red Hen and The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza. We will focus on developing a story map.
Phonics- Reviewing all the sight words and letters previously introduced.
Writing- This week we will be review writing about a personal expereince.
Math- We will continue working on teen numbers and working with a ten frame.
Social Studies- We will begin learning about Thanksgiving. What it is and why we celebrate it.
