About the classes: Students will learn recorder techniques that will
prepare them for more advanced study of the instrument. The recorder
has a rich historical heritage in music literature, being used by composers
such as Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel. The instrument makes a great
beginning instrument before learning other musical instruments, but many
people play recorder as their primary instrument and it can be studied in
conservatories around the world.
This class will focus on playing soprano recorder. Future classes will
introduce alto, tenor, and bass recorders.
For more information or for inquiring about individual lessons for students of any
age, please contact Jody Miller at recorder96@aol.com or 404-314-1891.
