CRCTs Are Just Around the Corner
We have twelve more school days before the CRCTs. The week we come back from Spring Break, we will take the CRCT (Criterion Reference Competency Test.) For the next two weeks we will have review lessons to help get ready for this important test.
At home, going on the OAS (you can get there from the media center web page using the ID # I sent home and the password "education") is a good way for your child to prepare for the kinds of questions they will ask on the CRCT. They will read many long passages on the reading tests, and OAS has some very good examples of these. Taking AR tests is another good preparation as well as practicing math facts so that they will know them quickly when they need them.
I know they have worked hard all year, and that is why I'm confident that they are going to do a great job on the CRCT! We are going to be focusing on test prep for the next two weeks, so it's important for your child to be at school every day and be ready to work.
