- Math- The focus will be on graphing. We collected classroom data, and we will use it to make three different graphs. This packet will be the last math grade of the year. The post test is on Thursday.
- Reader's Workshop- We will continue with our author study this week. The Gail Gibbons packet is for a major grade and will be due next Wednesday.
- Writer's Workshop- The books are coming together very nicely. The children will continue to illustrate this week. They will read them to the class next week. There will also be an end of the year narrative post test on Thursday. We will compare it to the beginning of the year prompt to see how much they have grown as writers. It will be great to see the difference. This is also for a major writing grade.
- Spelling- Unit 17 is this week and the last Wordly Wise packet. The preview words and Wordly Wise packet will be given on Monday. Please be sure to study all preview words for the test.
- Health- We will continue to discuss the effects of alcohol and cigarettes. The test will be on Thursday. The next topic will focus on legal and illegal drugs.
